Phishing Scams

What is a phishing scam?
Phishing is a practice used by criminals involving fake emails, messages, or websites that look legitimate in order to trick you into sharing important personal information.
These scammers pretend to be from trusted sources like banks, companies, or even friends.
Types of scam
Phishing emails
- Grammatical errors. Many phishing emails have spelling mistakes or incorrect grammar, which should be a red flag.
- A suspicious email address. Pro tip: always check for hard-to-spot typos! Our legitimate domain is ts4rent.eu, be cautious if the email comes from a domain that looks almost like the legitimate one but has slight differences.
- Requests for confidential data. Emails requesting sensitive information like login information, bank account numbers, passwords, or social security details – something trusted sources very rarely do.
Remember, we’ll never ask for sensitive information or urge immediate action through suspicious emails. Any discussions with our retail customers containing confidential information will always be conducted in-platform. If you encounter a phishing email with someone impersonating TS4RENT, please let us know immediately, and a support agent will be ready to assist you.
SMS and Voice messages phishing
The scammers will usually urge you to login to your profile by following a link. This will open a phishing website that looks like our website, but it’s designed to steal your login information.Fake tech support
